It’s time to break out your best red threads for the 46th Annual Red Lady Salvation Ball! Join us at The Slogar on Wednesday, August 16 at 6 PM to celebrate the beginning of the end of the fight to keep Red Lady mine-free! It’s not a done deal, and several important details must be worked out to ensure the needs of the community are met, but that won’t stop us from celebrating what we believe are the final stages in HCCA’s 46-year effort to protect our community and headwaters from the threat of an industrial molybdenum mine on our beloved Red Lady. We’re throwin’ it way back this year on the dance floor as Mile High Soul Club spins the best in soul, funk, and rare grooves from the mid-1950s to the early-1970s. Mile High Soul Club throws THE dance party of the month, every month, in Colorado’s capital city, and they’re coming to Crested Butte for the first time.
